Why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul’s name?

We all know that the 1988 Olympic Games was the Seoul Olympic Games. At that time, the capital of South Korea was not Seoul, but Seoul. So why did South Korea change the capital from Seoul to Seoul in 2005? Many people believe that Seoul itself reads as Seoul in Korean and uses transliterated names to replace the original Chinese name is the result of Korean de Sinicization. Is that really the case

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

to explain why Seoul was changed into Seoul, we need to start with Korean characters.

the Korean language used by Koreans now is founded by the historical King Sejong in 1446, and its history is not long. Up to now, it is only 575 years. Before that, South Korea had no words. Before the king Sejong created Korean, the characters used in South Korea were Chinese characters. But the absence of words does not mean that there is no language, Sejong Before the king, the language used in Korea was Korean, but there were no words, so we could only borrow Chinese characters to write documents

before the emergence of Korean, when Koreans used Chinese characters, they used the methods of pronunciation and training to borrow Chinese characters. So what is pronunciation and training

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

pronunciation, in short, is to borrow the sound in Chinese characters, and instruction is to borrow the meaning in Chinese characters.

for example, the brother in Korean is read as ouba in Korean. Now many young women often use this word when addressing older men. When writing, it is directly written as ouba, and the Korean sound is used to represent the original Korean meaning, which is Pronunciation

another example is tank in English, which is directly translated into tank. In our modern Chinese, the word is also pronounced as tank, which has the same pronunciation as the original English and the same meaning as English. This is also pronunciation

What about discipline? Take the above example again. We write the word “brother” in Chinese characters on paper, but when we read it, we read it as ouba, which is called instruction reading

another example is tank. We write tank in Chinese, which is very close to the pronunciation of English tank. This is also an example of training reading, that is, borrowing the meaning of English directly

the ancient Korean people used Chinese characters by means of pronunciation and instruction

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let's take you to the origin of Seoul's name

let’s return to the topic of renaming Seoul. The name of Seoul comes from the Han River, the main river in the city. How to read the Han River in ancient times is now controversial. Popular terms include a-li-su, okk Li HA and Han GA Lam (hangala) As for which sound is correct, we don’t know now

in Korean, a-li-su means big water and Han GA Lam means big river. About 18 A.D., there was a country called Baiji on the Korean Peninsula. A city called “wi Lys Seong” was built near the Han River. In Korean, A-Li, wi Lys and Han GA all have great meaning, and Seong means city, so wi Lys Seong has another name called Han Seong

but only pronunciation is not enough. In writing, Koreans should record it. How can they record it? Korean people used Chinese characters to record wi Lys Seong as weilicheng, and Han Seong naturally wrote Seoul, so the name of Seoul came like this

of course, this place was not called Seoul from the beginning. In 475 ad, Baiji was defeated by Koguryo and Seoul was occupied by Koguryo. Koguryo called the area north and south of the Han River Hanshan County, and the area north of the Han River was called Nanping soil. So why is it called Nanping soil? At that time, the capital of Koguryo was Pyongyang. After taking Seoul, Koguryo felt that Seoul was very similar to Pyongyang, so she wanted to take Seoul as an important city to govern, so it was named nanpingtu

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

however, Koguryo did not rule Seoul for a long time. 100 years later, Xinluo ruled this place again. Xinluo took the name Xinzhou. Later, Xinluo changed many names to Xinzhou, such as North Hanshan Prefecture, Hanshan Prefecture, Hanzhou, etc. at the end of Xinluo, Xinluo also set up a Hanyang County in the area north of the Han River.

after Xinluo unified the Korean Peninsula, which was named during the period of Gaoli There are many. It is mainly bounded by the Han River. The south of the Han River has used the names of Yangzhou, Guozhou and Guangzhou, while the north is called Yangzhou at first, and then Nanjing and Hanyang. Well, do you feel familiar with these place names

Korea was followed by the Korean period. Li Chenggui, the founder of the Korean Dynasty, moved the capital from Kaesong to Hanyang at that time, which is now Seoul, and then changed the name of Hanyang to Seoul, so Seoul appeared

however, when the Koryo Dynasty was just established, Seoul was still small in scale, mainly concentrated in the area north of the Han River. At this time, when people call Seoul, they often use the name SEO UL, and if the word SEO UL goes back to its origin, it is actually the name of Silla

when Xinluo first appeared in 57 BC, the names of Xinluo were SEO La BEOL, SEO BEOL, SA La, etc. in short, Xinluo had many names at that time. Because there were no words in Korea at that time, we could only use Chinese characters to find similar sounds. Xinluo’s writing methods were diverse. The Chinese characters of these names were xuluofan, Xufan, siruo, etc. later, the meaning of Xinluo’s country name changed, It means capital

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

later, people living on the Korean Peninsula began to get familiar with these concepts. The capital was read as SEO La BEOL, SEO BEOL, SA La and so on, so the word Seoul appeared, specifically referring to the capital.

after the demise of the Korean Dynasty, until the end of World War II, North Korea was occupied by the Japanese, and the Japanese became very embarrassed when calling Seoul. First of all, they didn’t want to admit that the word SEO UL was Japanese I can’t read it. It’s not good to call it Kyoto, because Japan has Kyoto, so the Japanese call this place the capital

after the end of World War II in 1945, several names have been mixed in this place, including Seoul, capital, SEO UL, etc. by 1946, when South Korea was founded, the South Korean government decided to set the capital in this place and named it seo UL

after South Korea officially named the place name SEO UL, because there was no Chinese character corresponding to SEO UL in the Chinese characters, people in the Chinese speaking area called it Seoul according to the past habit

so the fact is that since the founding of South Korea, Seoul has always used SEO UL, that is, the name of Seoul, but we have always called Seoul

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

for example, Seoul University actually uses the word SEO UL, but when we translate it, it is translated into Seoul University.

however, there is a Seoul University in South Korea, but the two schools are not on the same level at all. Seoul University ranks first in South Korea, while Seoul University ranks 30 in South Korea.

of course, if our Chinese speaking areas always use Seoul, while South Korea always uses Seoul So in 2005, when Lee Myung Bak was in office, he ordered someone to find Seoul, two Chinese characters very close to SEO UL, and named SEO UL in Chinese

why did South Korea change its capital from Seoul to Seoul? Let me show you the origin of Seoul's name

of course, for us, we used to call Seoul for many years, and we would feel very uncomfortable when we suddenly changed to Seoul, but the fact is that Seoul has always been called Seoul. Therefore, the 1988 Olympic Games is not the Seoul Olympic Games, but the SEO UL Olympic Games, that is, the Seoul Olympic Games

the important aspect of SEO is the technical infrastructure of the website, which is related to the accessibility of the website and the web content required for the website to be indexed. The condition of technical SEO determines the condition of your website.

for example, if your website is invisible, unsafe or loading speed is too slow, search engines may skip your website when selecting the website that gets the ranking in natural search results. Technical SEO Be able to reveal the reasons for poor ranking and provide suggestions to solve problems. Technical SEO problems can be divided into the following 8 categories

1. Crawleability and website structure

when crawlers crawl your website, can they find text and effectively grab links

if the crawler encounters code that cannot be crawled, such as prohibition instructions or code snippets, it cannot access the content linked to your website on this page. For example, if an e-commerce website links to its product using a link code that is not captured by a crawler, the product page will not be captured

this crawling property determines the performance of all natural searches. Unable to crawl means there is no index, which in turn means there is no ranking and natural search traffic

2. Index and duplicate content

when a crawler grabs your website, the text content on each page needs to be indexable

some forms of code and media files make the content on the crawled web page invisible to the search engine. For example, visitors can read words embedded in the title in the image, but search engines have not yet used text recognition. They cannot detect the words embedded in the image, which will lead to the loss of relevance of the content because these words are not indexable

in other cases, too much content is indexed because the platform of the website generates multiple pages with the same content and multiple URLs. Then, the search engine department needs to sort out to determine which pages are important and which pages are just duplicate content

these two situations are very common, but there are many different factors that will affect the crawleability or indexability of the site

3. Server header status and error

whenever the user agent requests a web page from the server, it will return a response code. The 404 “file not found” error code encountered when accessing an invalid URL is a well-known error among these response codes

search engines use these response codes to determine whether to index content and which pages to rank. The server response code prompts the search engine for specific behavior. For example, the 404 code prompts the engine to delete a URL from its index

4, mobile priority index and mobile friendliness

more than half of Google’s global searches are carried out on mobile devices. Therefore, Google will improve the ranking of mobile device friendly websites to provide searchers with a good mobile experience

in addition, Google is transforming its global index into classifying mobile versions of pages, rather than its traditional desktop preferences. This means that many websites are ranked according to their mobile versions. These rankings usually delete some elements of the navigation, content or the whole part of the website, resulting in crawling and indexing problems

5. Website loading speed

the loading speed of the website will also affect your ranking. The pages loaded quickly will rank higher on Google

since the loading speed of pages using different templates may vary greatly, the ranking improvement is mainly for each keyword on each web page. For example, your product page may load quickly, while the store’s home page may load very slowly

6.、 HTTPS website security

security is also one of the factors that Google attaches great importance to. Websites securely hosted using HTTPS rank higher. It is important to note that all elements of the page need to be securely hosted, whether images or third-party tracking code

7. SEO

websites operating in multiple countries / regions also face some technical SEO challenges. Google and Bing use different methods to annotate the location of each page. Google uses hreflang tags, while Bing uses meta tags, a simpler content language

the ability to allow visitors to switch between the country and language versions of the website can also cause SEO problems. Some coding methods used to develop these functions cannot be captured by search engines using cookies or some form of JavaScript pop-up window. The result may be that the natural traffic ranking of the site in this country / region is reduced or does not exist, and it cannot bring self recognized traffic

8. Using schema

technology, SEO also recommends using schema to enable Google’s rich web page summary and other search result page functions. Inserting specific code around specific types of information helps improve readability and understanding, making Google more likely to display this information in search results

for example, when you search for recipes and ingredients, pictures or cooking times, this is structured data at work. Sites with rich summaries place structured data around the information visible on the page in the page template

however, all technical SEO problems can be solved, which requires the help of developers. However, taking time to optimize technical SEO often has a greater impact on natural search results, because technical SEO usually affects multiple pages

In 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why did it only ask China to modify it?

In 2021, South Korea’s GDP reached US $1.8 trillion, ranking 10th among all countries in the world. As a small and medium-sized country with a population of 52 million and an area of 103200 square kilometers, it is not easy to have such achievements

South Korea’s economic position in Asia has always been very important. Whether in trade or finance, it often acts as a bridge between eastern and Western countries. In addition, South Korea also acts as the bridgehead of the United States in the game between China and the United States

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

historically, the entire Korean Peninsula was once a subsidiary of the Central Plains Dynasty. No matter how the Korean Dynasty changed, it has always been influenced by the Central Plains culture, especially the Chinese culture. This can be seen in many city names in South Korea.

nowadays, the capital of South Korea is Seoul, whose pronunciation comes from” Seoul ” 。

maybe you haven’t noticed that since the partition of the Korean Peninsula and the establishment of the Republic of Korea, the Chinese name of its capital is “Seoul” until the beginning of the 21st century

so why does South Korea have to change the Chinese name of the capital? What cultural changes have taken place behind this? Now let’s talk about it

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

” Seoul ” This name was used by the Chinese until 2004. Behind this name is Chinese culture and Chinese civilization

this name is used because South Korea has been influenced by Chinese civilization in its history. Specific analysis should be considered from the historical perspective of South Korea

the dynasties of South Korea can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty in China. At that time, in order to avoid the crusade of King Wu of Zhou Dynasty, some nobles of the Shang Dynasty fled to the Korean Peninsula and established their own rule here

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

however, the good times did not last long. With the establishment of the Han Dynasty, the central government strengthened the management of various vassal states. During this period, the Han Dynasty sent troops to the Korean Peninsula. The leader was Weiman.

due to the debauchery and extreme decline of the ruling power of the noble descendants of the Shang Dynasty entrenched in the Korean Peninsula at that time, the Han Dynasty overthrew its rule with only a thousand troops, the so-called” Jizi Dynasty ” This ends

because the man who led the troops was named Weiman, after his great victory, he did not return to the imperial court, but established his own dynasty in this remote place, that is, the Weishi Dynasty. With the split of the Han Dynasty, the forces of all factions on the Korean Peninsula began to move

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

during this period, Baiji, Koguryo and Silla began to gradually become powerful and fight each other, which brought deep suffering to the local people. However, in the same period, the Tang Dynasty was established, unified the Central Plains and formed a strong control force.

on the Korean Peninsula, Silla, which had a certain advantage, did not fight Korea in the end.

because Korea made full use of the influence of the Tang Dynasty at that time, Finally, Xinluo was subordinated to itself and realized the reunification of the Korean peninsula again, which opened the famous Koryo Dynasty in history

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

later, with the demise of the Yuan Dynasty, the Korean Peninsula fell into a scuffle again. Without highly centralized management, the forces within the Korean Peninsula naturally began to fight with each other.

at this time, the king of Korea sent General Li Chenggui to the Central Plains in the hope that he could expand his territory in the midst of the chaos in the Central Plains.

however, what they didn’t know was that the Ming Dynasty had been destroyed by this time Basically, Zhu Yuanzhang also recovered the central government’s rule and jurisdiction over Eastern Liaoning

therefore, when Li Chenggui’s troops were about to cross the Yalu River, two factions with completely different opinions formed within the army

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

among them, some people believe that we should take advantage of the present opportunity to continue to advance to the Central Plains and complete the glorious mission given to us by the king of Korea.

while others believe that the time has passed, the Central Plains is now completely under the rule of the Ming Dynasty, and Zhu Yuanzhang is a military genius, so he has no chance of victory at all, so he might as well return to his residence and end the war.

in the tug of war between the two factions During the journey, the army mutinied. Li Chenggui finally gained military power and killed all those who disagreed with him

at this time, he thought that moving forward could not win, and retreating would be slaughtered by the king of Korea, so he wanted to be king

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

however, no matter how he acted, the central government could not recognize his legitimacy as long as the king of Korea was still there.

therefore, he quietly sneaked back to the capital and assassinated the king of Korea, then reported to the central government and took the initiative to submit to the Ming Dynasty.

Zhu Yuanzhang also agreed with Li Chenggui’s idea and made him king of Korea. But before the establishment of the new dynasty, there is a thorny problem that must be solved, so It’s the name of the capital

since Li Chenggui wanted to learn from the Ming Dynasty at that time, he chose the capital according to the marking method in Chinese

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

in its name, because the capital is located north of the Han River, and in Chinese culture, the North belongs to Yang and the South belongs to Yin, it is named Hanyang.

in addition, in the mouth of Confucianism, the admiration for the capital should be followed by” city ” Word, so Seoul comes from it

with the accession of Li Li, the grandson of Li Guicheng, the Korean Peninsula began the historical process of self built culture. The whole person known as the king of Sejong has been studying hard all his life, hoping to evolve Chinese characters into their own unique Korean characters, that is, proverbs

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

however, due to the special feelings of the high-level people at that time for Chinese civilization, they were unwilling to accept such a change. It was not until the Korean Peninsula gradually established a national consciousness that proverbs began to be widely used in this region.

however, due to the strong strength of the Ming and Qing dynasties at that time, the ruling class of the Korean Peninsula had to rely on the power of the central government to stabilize their rule, Therefore, even if the national pride of the people on the Korean Peninsula was gradually strengthened, they always only guarded “Seoul” and did not dare to overstep the minefield

at the end of the Qing Dynasty, with the complete failure of the Qing government in the Sino Japanese Naval War of 1894-1895, it lost its rule over the Korean Peninsula. After Japan occupied the Korean Peninsula, it started the process of de sinicization, and the Japanese renamed its capital “Kyoto”

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

with the end of the Second World War, Japan was completely defeated and all its forces withdrew from the Korean Peninsula. With the support of the United States, the Republic of Korea was established and Lee Seung Wan became the first president of the Republic of Korea.

at that time, the western countries as a whole made great efforts to crush the eastern countries, and Lee Seung Wan believed that South Korea should be fully westernized.

however, despite the economic, cultural, educational, military, political and other fields South Korea has completed the Westernization transformation, but the Oriental civilization reflected in its place names has always been unable to change, which has become a lingering “pain” in the heart of the South Korean government

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

Li CHENGWAN

after the founding of the people’s Republic of China, Li CHENGWAN wanted to change the name of the capital. However, since there was no good name to replace” Seoul “, he directly changed the name of the capital to” Seoul “, which translates to” capital “. At that time, however, this change was not recognized by China. The reason is very simple, we can’t call the capital of other countries” capital ” , this is a very wonderful name

the time soon came to the 1990s. With the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, South Korea once again made a request to change its name. It hopes to change the Chinese name of the capital from “Seoul” to “Seoul”. However, China did not give a positive response at that time

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

until 2004, then South Korean President Lee Myung Bak thought the time was ripe, so he made this request to China again.

at this time, western countries had used” Seoul “for many years, and the name of” Seoul “only involved the revision of Chinese. Finally, China agreed to the South Korean request to change the Chinese name of its capital from” Seoul “to” Seoul “.

in 2005, South Korea changed Seoul into Seoul. Why only ask China to modify it?

moreover, we can find out some deeper reasons behind the renaming of the South Korean capital.

in ancient times, because the influence and strength of Chinese civilization in the world were the first, it hoped to move closer to Chinese civilization in an all-round way to show its” strength “.

after World War II, the strength of western countries generally rose, and South Korea believed that Chinese civilization was a” burden “for itself , we want to move closer to the West in an all-round way, so we will always

  1. Why is the Chinese name of the South Korean capital changed from “Seoul” to “Seoul”?

Why is the Chinese name of the South Korean capital changed from “Seoul” to “Seoul”?

The successful hosting of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games made the world familiar with the capital of South Korea. Before that, the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games were boycotted because of the Soviet Union’s invasion of Afghanistan, and the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games were boycotted by the Soviet Union and socialist countries in Eastern Europe. The cold war between the two camps in 1988 was drawing to a close: athletes from the two camps gathered in South Korea, the capital of the then “four little dragons of Asia”. The theme song “hand in hand” of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games has also become a classic Olympic theme song. However, the South Korean government announced in 2005 to change the Chinese name of the capital from Seoul to Seoul

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

in history, Chinese civilization formed its own Chinese character writing system very early. However, at that time, most of the other surrounding ethnic groups were still in a state of only oral language without written words. These ethnic groups were constantly exposed to various advanced cultures and systems in their exchanges with the Chinese nation. With the increasing degree of civilization of these ethnic groups, they needed to use words to record their daily production and life. History has become more and more popular South Korea, North Korea and other countries have used Chinese characters to record their own language. At present, no one can say the exact time when Chinese characters were introduced into the Korean Peninsula, but it can be determined that it was at least before A.D. 583: that year, the Xinluo Dynasty on the peninsula issued laws and regulations following the rules and regulations of the Central Plains Dynasty

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

however, Xinluo didn’t have its own words at that time, so what was used to record laws, decrees and ordinances? In fact, Xinluo Dynasty at that time used Chinese characters to record directly. With the increasingly close communication between Xinluo and Tang Dynasty, Chinese characters became more popular and popular in Xinluo. In 985, the Koryo Dynasty on the peninsula imitated the Central Plains Dynasty and established the imperial examination system, which further promoted the popularization of Chinese characters. The capital of the Koryo Dynasty “Kaijing” is a typical Chinese character name. In addition to the capital, the Koryo Dynasty also had an accompanying capital. The accompanying capital of the Koryo Dynasty is located on the Bank of the Han River in today’s South Korea, so it was named Hanyang by the Koryo Dynasty at that time

why did the Chinese name of the capital of South Korea change from

because there were languages and no words in the Korean Dynasty, it was” Hanyang ” This name is written in Chinese characters. Hanyang District in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China is named because it is located in Hanshui. In fact, the naming of Hanyang city in Korea Dynasty is similar to this. In 1392, the Koryo Dynasty was replaced by the Lee Dynasty. Two years later, Li Chenggui, the founding monarch of the Korean Dynasty, moved his capital to Hanyang. At the same time, Li Chenggui also changed the name of “Hanyang” to “Seoul”. The city thus began its 600 year history as the capital. Seoul is surrounded by mountains on three sides and Hanjiang River on one side. Adhering to the concept of “King City in the middle, left ancestor and right society” – the king’s Palace “Jingfu Palace” of Li’s Korean Dynasty is located on the Feng Shui cave.

the Korean Dynasty of the Lee family established a tributary relationship with the Ming Dynasty of China: Li Chenggui prepared the two country names of “Korea” and “hening”. Zhu Yuanzhang, as the emperor of the suzerain state, asked Zhu Yuanzhang to choose. Finally, after careful consideration, Zhu Yuanzhang took the “clear meaning of Asahi” to name the new dynasty created by Li Chenggui as “Korea”. Li Chenggui determined The capital name “Seoul” was also introduced into China in the exchanges with the Ming and Qing Dynasties. “Seoul” is originally the name recorded in Chinese characters, so Chinese classics directly use this name. In 1910, Japan established its colonial rule on the Korean Peninsula through the Japan ROK merger treaty

why did the Chinese name of the South Korean capital change from

during the Japanese colonial period, “Seoul” was renamed “capital”. After the Kanto earthquake in 1923, Japan once planned to move the residence of the emperor and the government from Tokyo in Japan to “capital” on the Korean Peninsula. Then Japan was in “capital” Launched a large-scale development and construction: the new capital railway station was completed in 1925. This is a building with red brick walls, gray white strips and green vault. This is the most “modern” scenery in this ancient and emerging city. Some of the palaces of the Lee Dynasty were demolished and some were relocated. European style buildings, including the governor’s office, banks, department stores, restaurants, hospitals and parks, have become the new landmarks of the city

why did the Chinese name of the Korean capital change from

trams gradually replaced carriages as the main means of transportation of “capital”. The earliest street lamp system in East Asia lit up the night of the city. “Capital” also gave birth to the first comprehensive university in the history of the Korean Peninsula, Imperial University of capital. “Capital” It has developed into the transportation, cultural and capital center of the Korean Peninsula under Japanese occupation, and it is also the industrial center of the Korean Peninsula: not only the Japanese chaebol is keen to set up enterprises here, but also the Korean national industrialist Kim Sung soo founded “Beijing Textile” here. With the help of colonial capital, technology and the influx of new urban workers, Jingfang gradually rose and became one of the origins of Korean national capitalism in the future

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

“capital” is the name given by the Japanese, while the peninsula people themselves call it “Seoul”. The word “Seoul” is an inherent word in Korean – meaning capital and capital. In history, “Seoul” and “capital” In fact, such names are more official. At that time, ordinary people on the Korean Peninsula who have not read books generally do not use such a literary title – they usually directly use the word “Seoul” in Korean to call their capital. When Japan was defeated and surrendered in 1945, the city was already the most populous and economically prosperous city on the Korean Peninsula, the transportation hub and industrial center of the Korean Peninsula, and the city with the longest capital in the history of the Korean Peninsula

why did the Chinese name of the capital of South Korea change from

after Japan’s defeat and surrender, the United States and the Soviet Union occupied the South and north of the Korean Peninsula respectively with the 38th parallel of north latitude. Lee Seung Wan relied on the support of the United States to establish the government of the Republic of Korea in the south of the Korean Peninsula. When determining the capital, South Korea chose the largest city that has been the capital for more than 600 years, but abandoned the “Seoul” during the Lee Dynasty “Capital” and other names during the Japanese occupation. These names are typical Chinese characters, but most ordinary people didn’t know Chinese characters at that time. Although the ancient Korean Peninsula used Chinese characters as an official character in its communication with the Central Plains Dynasty, the use of Chinese characters on the Korean Peninsula was really limited to the official level

why did the Chinese name of the capital of South Korea change from

in fact, the vast majority of ordinary people on the ancient Korean Peninsula did not read. These people can only speak their own Korean, but do not know the Chinese characters introduced from China. Chinese characters have long been the possession of the intellectual and cultural class on the Korean Peninsula, but the people at the bottom with relatively low cultural level find it very difficult to learn Chinese characters. Chinese names such as “Seoul” and “capital” are always used only at the official level, while ordinary people generally call the city “Seoul” according to their oral habits. Li CHENGWAN’s government confirmed the word “Seoul” as the official name of the capital. Since 1948, “Seoul” has actually become the official name of the city

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

“Seoul” and “capital” are Chinese names, but the word “Seoul” comes from Korean. Therefore, “Seoul” At that time, there was no corresponding Chinese character translation. The defects of Korean as a Pinyin character are obvious: inaccurate expression of meaning and difficult to distinguish homonyms. For example, when we see the Chinese Pinyin Ma, we may think of Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma and scolding. The name of South Korean President Moon Jae-in is written in proverbs. However, the three pronunciations of Wen Zai Yin only correspond to Wen zaiyin. I can see that these three pronunciations can also be interpreted as Wen zaiyin. Homophones are difficult to distinguish in pinyin

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

from” Seoul “in Korean How to translate the word in Chinese? Can it also be transliterated as hand ear and guard son? This embarrassing phenomenon exists not only in the translation of place names, but also in the translation of people’s names. The reason why Koreans note Chinese characters in their identity is to avoid duplicate names caused by homonyms. However, under the special background of the cold war, there was little communication between South Korea and China, and South Korea never explained how to translate the word “Seoul”, so China has always used the name “Seoul” in ancient books to call Seoul. This is actually a unique phenomenon in the Chinese character culture circle, because the English name of the South Korean capital has been determined as “Seoul” since 1948

why is the Chinese name of the Korean capital changed from

English speaking countries have begun to use” Seoul “since 1948 Call the capital of South Korea, but how to write this word when translated into Chinese characters? During the cold war, there were almost no exchanges between China and South Korea, so South Korea did not express any opinion on how China called its capital. In 1970, South Korea issued a declaration on the abolition of Chinese characters. Since the 1980s, the frequency of using Chinese characters in Korean newspapers and magazines has decreased day by day. Since Koreans are using fewer and fewer Chinese characters, how to use Chinese characters for the name of the capital

PR = /L+PR /L+PR/L+…+PR/L)q+1-q

1、cookie

2、cookie
